Written translations can be broadly divided into two categories:
An authorized translation is a translation performed by a sworn translator at the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, printed on company letterhead, attached to the original document or its copy, with
a signature, seal and sworn declaration of the translator for the accuracy of the translation. Usually, this is how
documents for tender procedures, EU programs and others for which this is necessary are prepared.
A translation for personal use is a translation performed by a sworn translator, but without being formatted according to the requirements for
legalization or authorized translation.
Oral translations
is a type of oral interpretation that is performed at the moment of speaking. It is usually performed by two
interpreters, as it is inherently quite responsible, considering the more intense working conditions. It is especially
suitable for international conferences, seminars, symposiums, congresses, PR events, etc. The nature of the work
requires the availability of the appropriate equipment - booths, headphones, microphones, etc.
Consecutive interpretation is an oral interpretation in which the speaker's speech is interpreted in parts: the interpreter waits for the speaker
to pause and then translates what was said. This type of interpretation is usually used in negotiations, work meetings,
seminars, signing of deals and certification of powers of attorney before a notary, accompanying during trips in the
country and abroad, hospitals, etc.
Simultaneous and consecutive translations will be subject to additional negotiation for each specific case.
